LinneSys: Systematics Research Fund

The Councils of The Linnean Society of London and The Systematics Association jointly administer this fund for the benefit of systematics research. The Fund has an annual funding round with publicised deadlines. The 2024 call will open at the beginning of the year.

Applications

Applicants from all nationalities are welcome. An applicant must be a current member of the Systematics Association or Linnean Society of London.

Applications to LinnéSys can only be made through the online application form which is made available during the funding round. Complete guidelines are provided in the application page.

Awards

The value of any single award will not exceed £1,500.

Funded Research

Successful projects are selected by a panel of systematists who represent a wide range of conceptual interests and taxonomic groups. For more details, please read the “Guidelines for applying for LinnéSys funding” and “Eligibility criteria” which precede the application form.
