LinnéSys: Systematics Research Fund

The 2023 call is now closed.

The Councils of The Linnean Society of London and The Systematics Association jointly administer the LinnéSys: Systematics Research Fund (LinnéSys) for the benefit of systematics research. The Fund has an annual funding round with publicised deadlines. The 2023 call is now closed, awardees will be announced in May.

Applications

Applicants from all nationalities are welcome. An applicant must be a current member of the Systematics Association or Linnean Society of London. Membership fees and application process for the Systematics Association can be found here.

Applications to LinnéSys can only be made through the online application form which is made available during the funding round.

Awards

The value of any single award will not exceed £1,500. Generally, applications in the range of £500-£1,000 are preferred.

Funded research

Successful projects are selected by a panel of systematists who represent a wide range of conceptual interests and taxonomic groups. For more details, please read the “Guidelines for applying for LinnéSys funding” and “Eligibility criteria” which precede the application form.
