LinnéSys: Systematics Research Fund

2020/2021 LinnéSys funding call closed at 23.59 GMT on Monday 15 February 2021.

The Systematics Research Fund has been renamed to the LinnéSys: Systematics Research Fund.

The Councils of The Linnean Society of London and The Systematics Association jointly administer the LinnéSys: Systematics Research Fund (LinnéSys) for the benefit of systematics research.

The Fund has an annual funding round with publicised deadlines. Applicants from all nationalities are welcome. Please note that applications can only be made through the online form which is made available during the funding round.

An applicant must be a CURRENT MEMBER of the Systematics Association or Linnean Society of London. Membership fees for the Systematic Association can be found here.

Please read the “Guidelines for applying for LinnéSys funding” before completing the online application form below. Please note that only applications made using the application form below are acceptable. Typical activities supported  as well as those not supported are described here.

Successful projects are selected by a panel of systematists who represent a wide range of conceptual interests and taxonomic groups. Generally applications in the range of £500-£1,000 are preferred. The value of any single award will not exceed £1500.
